Congratulations to
Stuart Dempsey…officially a Knight…made his first two
degrees at St. Joseph Parish Center a couple of weeks
ago…Were glad to have Stuart aboard..
HELP KNIGHTS SEND
ROSARIES TO TROOPS. For the last three weeks a container
was available at the entrance of the church for this
special “Rosary Drive”….Msgr Beach “We continue to ask
our Blessed Mother to watch over and protect our loved
ones in the Armed Services”…The container is full….Their
were some very special Rosary Beads that were placed in
the container from soldiers that carried them when they
were in harms way….

Prayer Service followed by reception in Monihan Hall.

Set up of
Monihan Hall Tuesday Nov 20 Marty Harris
7:30 pm Monihan Hall
to be set up for Wed. Event. (Marty, Suzanne, Joan and
some strong backs – still needed) Move out cafeteria
tables, move in 5 rounds, 8 high tops, and 60 chairs.
Decorate tables, coffee set ups etc.
Wednesday Nov 21
Prayer Service
in Church Joan Burrichter and Ed Harootunian
to be official
representatives of SSJ.
McGinty to provide one
fall floral arrangement for the altar.
At 7:00 pm two Knights
of Columbus and six High School Youth will supervise
parking lot and later will help direct people from
church to Monihan Hall. We expect 400-500 people to
attend from up to 16 congregations.
Adult choir will sing
with additional band and instruments under direction of
Marierose.
Deacon Jim and Betty
Lyon will be present to take care of misc. details as
needed.
4 Ushers will be
present to reserve 1st two pews in sections C
and D in church, greet and take up collection. Cathy
Madison to provide one collection bag for funds
collected.
Clergy will vest in
Vesting Sacristy, and Parish Library.
The coat rack from the
parish center will be brought up and placed in the hall
opposite the chapel entrance for coats. (St. Anne Altar
Server room will be used as back up)
Other congregations
will bring food for reception. Food not dropped off in
Monihan Hall will be left in the Welcome Center.
Youth group will carry it down to Monihan during the
service.

Wednesday Nov 21
Reception in
Monihan Hall Jen Dobbins to be in charge.
Connie Pulgliese, 3
people from Joan’s SCC group and Terri Silverthone will
arrive at 6:30 pm. Joe LePone, Marge and Tom Gugerty
will help later on. Pat Walsh may also help.
SSJ will provide
beverages and food for about 50 people. Other
congregations will bring the remaining food. We expect
250-300 people to attend the reception.
Clean up of
Monihan Hall
Saturday Nov. 24
after the 9:00 am Mass Marty Harris
Monihan Hall tables,
coffee pots and what ever else will be returned to
school set up at this time. (Marty and Gordon Jefferes)
